What the text tools do
Two of these are plain writing helpers. The Word Counter shows words, characters, sentences, paragraphs and reading time as you type, which is handy for an essay limit or a meta description. The Case Converter fixes a heading pasted in ALL CAPS, or turns a phrase into camelCase, snake_case or kebab-case for code.
The other two are for working with AI. The AI Prompt Optimizer is a checker, not a rewriter: it flags a missing role, task, format, length or tone, catches contradictory instructions and vague filler, then rearranges your own sentences under labeled sections. It never invents new wording, so the result can be longer than what you pasted. That’s deliberate.
The AI Output Diff is for when ChatGPT gives you two versions of an answer and you can’t see what moved. Paste both and it marks every change, word by word or line by line, with a one-line summary of what was added, what was removed and what share of the text changed.
If your prompts keep coming back vague, how to write better AI prompts explains the reasoning behind each check.
